Click Tracking Using Database
I'm learning PHP and MySQL, so if someone could point me in the right direction, I can hopefully do this myself. Otherwise, if someone wants to write a mod and share it, that's fine, too.
Anyway, I'm working on a site right now that is powered by vBulletin 3.7. I want to be able to track the number of clicks and when the last link occurred for links within the FIRST POST in a thread ONLY. Based on the number of clicks and user-ratings, I'd like to come up with a new rating stat for each thread. Also, I need to be able to sort each forum by this new rating. That I can do myself. Thanks! Feel free to post if you're willing to do this as a paid mod with a price for general release or custom mod only to me. |
