Move user to a random usergroup when he clicks on a button/link
Hi there.
In my board we have some kind of game battles, where the users are able to enlist to it. Doing so, it needs to be moved randomly to one of the 2 (or more) usergroups available (like armies - Allies and Axis, something like that), with different access and permissions. So i need a hack where the users click on an "enlist" link and/or button, and they're automatically and randomly moved to one of these groups. Is there possible? Keeps as simple as possible, but if you want to make some "welcome message" saying to the user that he was enlisted and moved to defined group or army, and some listing thing like reports or % of members added in each group, it's okay also! Thanks in advance. Ps.: something like this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ndom+Usergroup but instead of moving to usergroup when registering, moving while the user (already registered) clicks on a button or link. And of course, works on a 3.7 vbulletin. |
