PHP Help for Nonprofit
Hello,
My name is Eli Nofzinger, and I'm writing on behalf of Student World Assembly, a non-profit association representing student activists worldwide. We recently purchased a vBulletin license and professional installation in order to upgrade the dated discussion forum on our website. I was told to post in the "Requests for Paid Services" thread, but was unable to locate it. We assumed that by purchasing the professional installation, we would be up and running in a short time without any problems. Unfortunately, this has not been the case. Our limited IT department (basically 1 person working part time) managed to install MySQL on our server, but does not have enough knowledge of PHP to install it. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help us with this minor detail, either as a tax deductible donation or for a relatively small fee? As a nonprofit with very limited resources, it is particularly frustrating to spend such a significant amount of money on a product which we remain unable to use. We will be extremely grateful to anyone who can assist us in this matter. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and check out www.studentworldassembly.org for more information about us. |

Depending on the platform you are running on (Windows or *nix), there are different installation procedures. I'm sure a simple Google search would provide step-by-step instructions.
As for the paid requests forum, it is here. |
