POST TABLE was LOST ALL DATA!!!
I am newbie in VB.
Yesterday, my post table was accidentially cashed and lost all data after repaired. My last backup was around a month ago. I have asked my web hosting for any data left for restoring. The answer is NO!!! It means that my post table cannot be resotred from any backup or log files. For my 1 month lost data, I have checked table postedithistory and thread found that I have lost around 44,000+ posts with 6,200+ threads. As everthing except post table is running propery, I am trying to restore my data in post table from what I have. I am planning to match postid from postedithistroy table with thread table to find post messages which are first of last message of thread and were edited. I don't know how much I can restore my db, but I need to do. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to help me restore more data from my lost "post" table? |

If the table is really corrupted beyond repair, then your only real option is to restore a backup of the entire database. Restoring single tables wil only lead to more problems as they are all linked together.
