mod request/suggestion
Just a little something i thought would be kinda funny for forums to use (we would like to use it as well if someone programs it). Something along the lines of admins/mods being able to give its members nicknames in their profile info (under their avatar). Probably something really easy to program into the vBulletin.
I thought this was a neat idea because you can label some of your members either highly or lowly (there a few on my forum i would like to nickname private Piles xD). Anyways if anyone decides to use this suggestion could you please pm the link to your download (Btw we use 3.7 forums). That would be greatly appreciated. -TribalGaming |

You could just use the usertitle for this.

Ya but we already have ranks for the user titles. The more posts they get the higher the rank (its all ranked in military ranks with small military logo next to it)

Then you can just create a custom field, have it set so the user cannot edit it, then staff can edit in the edit user page.
You can then put Code:
$post[fieldx] |

Using ranks does not exclude using a usertitle. These are 2 seperate things.
