Something simple that would help me greatly

I've posted a few times and no one has a good answer. I need to change minimum posts per day day THREADs per day. I just need to do this for my arcade as people are coming on and giving a few half-hearted posts to play in the arcade all day. If I can change this to threads atleast I will be generating new material.

Does one know how to do this? The last thing I want to do is go into the php and mess up a variable.

search for

replace with

        if( $this->user['ppd_require'] )
        {
         $posts_today_time = mktime(0,0,0,date("m"),date("d"),date("Y"));
             $DB->query("SELECT COUNT(threadid) AS amount FROM ibf_thread WHERE dateline>".$posts_today_time." AND postuserid=".$this->user['id']);
             $posts_today = $DB->fetch_row();
             $this->user['posts_today'] = $posts_today['amount'];

Just modified "out of the brain", untested - but I guess this is a good try
