Default Is it Possible To Move Users From A Forum To Another Forum

Is it possible to move users accounts from 1 v bulletin site to another, I own 1 forum, and it's not doing to well members wise it has 15,000 members, and I wanted to just shut it down and move the members to my new site which has about 2,000 members so they could use there existing user name, and password, there is about 500 members I want to be moved but will prolly just move them all if possible. Can this be done with MYsql like mergeing or something or some other way?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

1. backup your database of new site first and try this.

2. with SQLYog, you can easily copy over the user table to a new database. Try it and do not forget to backup first.

3. This requires that you drop your user table first, it does not merge instead it would copy over dropping the existing table.

4. This way you'd easily get your 15000 members imported to your new site. For those 2000 members already existing can be restored from the backup you made.

Thank you for trying to help other members, but if you are not 100% sure, then it is better not to respond.

This suggesting will for sure break your board. You can not simply copy single tables from 1 database to another, this will for sure break functionality.
