On many sites you will no doubt have seen a "how did you find us" question on registration. Something like:

How did you find us?
- Search Engine (please specify)
- Word of mouth
- Advertisement (please specify)
- The magic pixies
- Other (please specify)

Are there any mods that implement this in VB? I know I could use a custom profile field however this would mean adding two, one from the combobox selection and another for free text.

Nice Idea.its can be inserted at the time of register.

Creating profile fields would be the easiest way.
