Nav bar review please.
Can some of you check out my navbar??
The one at the top, not the vb one. I spent a while on it, so I hope its nice. So far I have had a great response from my members. If you cant see it...then you need to install flash. =)=)http://www.synisterfx.com/ |

it looks sharp, and I'm no designer but.. I would try another font, that is a bit then and slanted. I'm not sure what to suggest, maybe just a thicker version of what you have.

I hope you provide a text navigation someplace near that as well.
Good luck with it |

Thanks guys. I will try a different font. See how it looks.
As far as the text navigation, I suppose I could add that somewhere. |

the navbar looks okay but I would concentrate on the images you are applying to your forum like the forum status icons which were never designed for dark backgrounds.
Concentrating on one aspect of a site whilst ignoring other areas is not good practice. Just something to think about. |

I am slowly working on those.

I don't know if it's only my machine or not but when I view the site the navbar is skewed slightly towards the left.
So I'm required to scroll to the right to see the rest of the bar. My laptop is set up for 1024x768 resolution, maybe that has something to do with it? Also I'm using IE7 on Vista. |

I had to get rid of the flash one I made...It was inhibiting some site functionality.
I just added some drop down menus to the default nav bar for now. |
