admincp --> vboptions --> style & lang settings --> show messaging icons -- on/off

AdminCP >> vbulletin options >> Style & Language Settings >> Show Instant Messaging Program Icons

Been looking for ages and couldn't find it even though I knew I had seen it loads of times before!!

The icons still appear in the members profiles and they can still add the IM id's to their profile. It took me ages and ages to work this one out but the only way to get rid of them is to edit the template and actually take them out.

If you want to know which template it is let me know and I will check mine to see.

To remove it as a profile option you need to go to:

admin cp>styles and templates>style manager>edit templates>modify user option templates>modify profile

This is what I ended up removing from the template:

Removing this means the option doesnt appear in posts or their profiles or anywhere else in forum because the option isnt in a members profile for them to fill in.
