Hello,
By mistake, I've installed a phpMyAdmin tool in the directory where my forum is.
The forum's home page became a login page for phpMyAdmin.
I understand it's a big mistake I made, but I hope you'd help me find a solution to fix its effect and get my forum back.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Ehab

Best (and probably easiest) would be to simply clear all files and re-upload a fresh copy of vBulletin.

Is there any method to rescue the old contents of the forum and keep it on the same URL after reloading the new vbulletin copy?

Unless you have done file edits, you should not loose anything by re-uploading all the files.

Thank you Marco.
I did not make any change to files. All I did is the installation of the admin tool on the forum directory.
Two last questions please
- Is there any files I should keep in the forum's directory? In other words, what are the files to be cleared before re-uploading the fresh copy?
- After re-uploading the fresh copy by an FTP tool in the same old directory, should I go through the installation process again?

Once again thank you very much for the good news you cheered me up with, that I'm not going to lose my forum.
Best regards.
Ehab

Things you should consider keeping:
- ./includes/config.php No need to do that work again.
- You probaby don't need to redo the ./images directory
- ./customXXXXX directories
- If you are storing attachments on the file system and the directory you use is under the forumhome, then also no need to do this one

There is no need to run install again. All data is stored in the database and you are not changing that, only reupload the php files.
