Email address for subscription mails
I want a different email address for mails, that are being sent for subscriptions.
Behind that email address will be an autoresponder in case somebody is answering the mail. Thanks! |

That is a difficult thing to do. vbulletin itself does not have any mailing system, nor does it give any functionality to define what replyto email address should be used. It just uses your servers php mailing function, without giving any parameters to it.
You can however use a different email address to send subscriptions from. subscriptions@symptome.ch for example. But still replies to those emails are likely to go to user@domain.com, depending on how your server is configured. In any case they will go to the main email account on the server. Please take note that you should not use a different domain than the domain you are sending from / your server is configured on. Otherwise large email providers may mistake you for a spammer. |

I don't quite understand.
I can configure an email address which is taken for the contact form. Isn't this the same address like for subscriptions? And isn't there a parameter which loads that email address and in the end a possibility to set another email address? |
