I want to make a front page for my site and I dont want to use a CMS like Joomla or anything since all my content is in vB - and its kind of overkill for just 1 page.

On my front page I just want a list of the most recent forum posts and the most recent blog posts, side by side in a table. And I want these entries to look like they do in the normal pages.

Whats the best way to do this, keeping in mind I know next to nothing about php programming?

Hello,

I have a similar question. I have a the Inferno External mod installed and with it I am able to display the latest forum posts on my Wordpress homepage, but I am not able to figure out how to get the blogs to show as well. The Inferno mod's description says it will display blogs, but there isn't really any information on how to do this and development and support seems to have ceased - so I am looking for another mod to display blogs, such as the 10 latest blogs on my Wordpress homepage

Does anyone have a mod or solution to reccomend?
