Multiple Domains

<font color="darkgreen">I was wondering if you could direct a domain name to a specific subforum without hiding any of the other forums? I'm sure it can be done but I want to know if its within the license to do so.

Then the issue of logins will be a problem as it will appear that you are not logged in from one domain but are in the other.

This would all be using the same database, on same server, and showing all forums.

go to your domain and put a redirect on it so it redirects to the link you want it to

The licensing is the question and the secondary one, which depends on the answer, is handling some kind of common domain login or sharing of cookies between the two.

As far as the secondary question goes, im sure its possible, but i dont believe anything like that is released here.

Jake Bunce of vBulletin addressed redirecting sites to one origin and using a central forum. If I get what you want to do then you're adhering to vBulletin's licensing policy.

Yes, I am doing that with some of my business sites (non-vBulletin) using .htaccess rewrites but if its within the license I would really prefer to use two domain names for a single site/database.
