Hey guys/gals,

I use hostgator and i just wanted to change my main password to access the account. Well i changed it and hten my entire forum went down. Does the forum connect to the FTP somehow or is it just the mysql database? if so where do i need to change the password in my vbulletin forum?

Any ideas?

easiest way is set up a seprate user and pass just for that data base

if your useing cpanel then its realy easy just go to your mysql databases and ad user
then add the usr to the db

then just go to your config.php in vb and edit it with the information you just made
