Mod to recognize paid members of a forum
Anyone know of any mod that creates a way to recognize paid members / sponsors / supporters of a forum?
For instance, if there is a small monthly fee for being a paid member of the forum, some way to recognize those members in their profiles and on their posts would be good and encourage paid members. Or would you just create a new membership level and do everything manually? |

Create a new usergroup called "premium members" or "Supporters" or whatever. Add a new subscription, and have the members who subscribe get promoted to this new usergroup. Create or download some sort of badge or "Rank Image" for these members and assign this image to the group using the built in User Rank Manager. You might want to give members of this usergroup a special color for their usernames as well. Rank image and username color will show up on their posts and the rank image will show up on their profile. |

When you're at the edit usergroup screen, you'll see an option for "HTML Markup". It is here where you can change the colours of usernames for users in that usergroup.
