Forum Poster thats an RSS Feed ?
Im not sure if this is possible but say i grab an rss feed from any site say for example
Engadget is there a way to use the RSS Feed as a member/poster in my forums and the feed posting automatically. is it doable or am i dreaming ? Would be an interesting idea for the homebrew community that im from so that with sites who have a RSS Feed i can set up a member for that site and it automatically post news when the site does. Easy Newsposting for all at the moment we have news forums for each console/scene we support which feeds individual sites and even multiple sites. Anyone know of a hack/mod or is it already possible wraggster http://www.dcemu.co.uk |

From the site you linked, seems like 3.6.8 which does include an RSS poster.

I am running Engadget as a news feed and set it up to make posts in my tech news forum, and I made a new account called News Admin and he is the account that makes the posts,I allso changed the default 30 min check for new content to 60.
I allso have 4 news feeds doing the same thing as well, hope this helps. |
