Anyone have an idea how I might go about doing this:
I want a link (under the posts/signature) to point to a particular place, but I need this link to be different for paricular sub forums How might I go about adding these links? (rather like targted ads, for example, under the cars forums, each post/thread might point to my cars blog, and under my train section, each post/thread will point to my train blog...etc) Eg, on this thread, if forum title contains "General vBulletin Discussions" show "this" link under the posts --------------- Added [DATE]1198936477[/DATE] at [TIME]1198936477[/TIME] --------------- It looks like this is not possible, and no one has created a plug-in. I write in php/java, so can some one direct me to the knowledge base documents for writing vbulletin plug-in? |

Scan for keywords in a plugin at "postbit_display_complete" and then append your message to the post.

I have found postbit_display_complete (via add new plugin)
If I wish to append text, I assumed: global $vbulletin; print 'test'; it did, but need to know how I can add under posts, and how I can find values of certain arrays (i need to import the thread / sub thread titles and compare, if value array contains value display link x under post) is there a good resource here to start writting plug-ins? |
