Upgrading Mysql Info
Hello,
I just switched web host. I changed the nameservers to point to my new one, they moved over my database and files. However, my forum wont work. Shows database errors. Well the new host has different name and password for database. So I am wondering, how can i go in and change that informatino via FTP? How can i put in a new database name, username, password, and name it LOCALHOST instead of MYSQLHOST? Please, any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks Adam |

Have you modified your /includes/config.php file to reflect the login and password changes for your database?

The error only occurs when you dumb the backup SQL file without transfering the files...You transfered the files so I dont know why you still have this error!
