Hack install
Question I have several skins installed and need to find a way to take the saved template modifications in one skin and be able to transfer the modifications to all the skins.
I have the template Modification manager installed but it appears most of the functions are not working. I have tried the rebuild all modifications and still no go. It does not function. I need some help with this as I test skins and need the hacks installed and it is a pain to edit every template each time a new skin is installed. Thanks for any input. |

Create 1 parent style with all the edits. Set all your other styles as child of this parent style and do not make any template edits in these styles.

Is that the only solution - children cannot edit any templates that they inherit from their parents?
For example, the "PM Alert Hack" modification requires template modifications to the navBar. I can implement these modifications in a parent style. However, if my child style modifies the navBar template under its own style, the child won't inherit the "PM Alert Hack" changes from the Parent style. Is there a merge tool that permits me to choose what changes I want forced onto the child? |

If the Child style has a customized template in which a hook does not take place, then you have two options... revert the child style's template or do the customization in that template also.
