Make users wait a certain amount of time before posting again

On certain forums like webhostingtalk on the advertising section they have limited to you posting once every 7 days, how is this possible? Is this an addon, if so could someone post a link to it. I have tried searching but have found nothing other than things to stop spam.

Did you consider that they just might have their own developers and it might be a unique custom script?

I couldn't tell if that was vBulletin or not. Kinda-sort looks like it...but then again not.

I don't know of any vBulletin solution for that. How thoroughly have you searched the mods?
Did you use a bunch of different search terms?

I have tried searching quite a few different terms, I'm not saying they haven't got there own developers but I have seen it therefore thats why im asking here

Also I have seen that people have it so you can only post in forums if you have a certain amount of posts. I gather that may be an addon as well?

I haven't looked at the scripts at all, but isn't there a setting in vb options that says a poster may only post so often (I think default may be 20 seconds or so)? So, make a plugin in global start that if the user is in that certain forum then set that option to 7 days (of course you will have to put it in terms of seconds). I think that would work.
