Default Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up (Not Working)
I've checked the box to allow new PM pop-ups but all I receive is the flashing notification at the upper righthand corner. It has been like that for a while now. All of my other sites, including vB.com, works fine. Is anyone else experiencing this problem too?

As far as I am aware, popup notification hasn't worked here for me for a long while...

But it has never really bothered me

I think it worked for me just once this past year after I unchecked then rechecked the option. I'd like to have that feature back if possible.

The "popup" is actually the bar you see under the navbar.

Well, you've admitted you do notice it.

Lol, maybe a better suggestion would be to change the wording of the option?

I've been accustomed to the small pop-up window smacked in the middle of the screen; vB's default pop-up notification. It says, "SURPRISE!" Right now when I get a new PM it says, "Oh by the way..." I prefer the former.
