Increasing The Security Of Our Forums.
We unfortunately have had threats which we have accessed to be serous against our forums.
Does anyone have any tips on any methods that can further increase the level of security in VB. I was thinking maybe an SSL certificate and possibly using htaccess to secure admin site of things . Also is there any mileage in having 2 account 1 that post and another unrelated user name account use for admin access. Thanks Damien |

Yes using a seperate account for admin tasks will provide a (small) extra layer of security.
Please read the following thread on how to improve security for your board: http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=194701 |
