I've modified a mod...

I wan't able to find any rules about mod and their submission. Probably I've searched in the wrong places...

Can someone link me something about? Rules or "howto" are good things to read...

In particular I've a question: if I've modified a mod which is available in the Mod section...and I want to make my modifies or improvements available for other users... I can post my code in the thread, I can open another thread or I should send via pm my code to author, who could include my code in future mod release?

you can post your code as long as it's YOUR code. no if's, and's, or but's about it.

You are wrong on this. If you modify a plugin with your own code you cannot release the modified version without original script coder's permission.
