New Posting Features - Quick Links in Postbit (no more boring scrolling!)

What does this hack do?

it adds links to most used pages in your forum. like new posts, forum home etc.

its very simple, isn't it? but it comes in very handy if you are on a looooong page. it saves you time. no more boring scrollings!

so you liked it and want to install it. just read below:

we find in postbitlegacy:

and add this after it:

don't forget to add your own forum url in to the code,

so if you did some template changes at past and know simple html codes, it is not so hard to figure it out how it works. but for those who don't have any idea about codes, i'll try to explain it:

you can add every link if you want, just have a look at the code we added. you can see there is a part that contains link and another part for the name of link. we call it hyperlink.

you can simply change the link and the name of it and add after the last link. (or you can decide the link order too.)

and for less code just use http://www.example.com/forum/ the part which is colored red. you don't need to use your complete url.

I just noticed when I click on "New Posts" in the Navbar that PMs do not show up below the member name. Is anyone else getting this?

personally no, never heard such a thing before. this little modification should not make such weird things as long as you dont make something wrong. can you send me your forums link please? i will try to help you.
