Additional Profile Fields - OS, PHP, MySQL versions
I'd like to propose adding a few extra profile fields that I'd also like to see added on the postbit: OS, PHP and MySQL versions. This would be a big help when trying to diagnose odd behavior of a modification or when answering questions in the programming support areas. It would also be an interesting statistic to track for trending.
Thanks. |

We are unlikely to add them to the postbit, it would start to become very crowded.
However, we may consider the idea of adding a profile field that would be visible on your profile page - in which you could enter such details. |

Perhaps they could be conditionally displayed on the postbit if they are posting on a modification thread and only to the mod creator? I'm just thinking it would be easier to spot when multiple people are reporting the same problem if there is a common element of OS, PHP or MySQL version.
Having it available in the the profile at all would be great too though. Thanks! |

I doubt it will be useful ..
- it will not be updated when changed - a coder should ask and not rely on these values - having this data public will only make you more susceptible to attacks |
