I been doing forums quite a long time. This is a weird one though maybe it's easy i dunno. I have the option to edit my thread and or post when i misspell or write the wrong topic. I change it but it doesn't ever show up in the actual title. I clear my temporary internet files and everything still the same topic when i save it after editing. Is there a setting I'm missing? Am i doing something wrong? This is on my forum by the way. Thanks for any help anyone can give i appreciate it.

To change the thread title, you need to go to Thread Tools -> Edit Thread.

Is that a option in the acp? It shows up in the thread title inside the thread. I'm talking about on the actual board there's no change to the thread title. If you still don't sorta get what I'm saying I'll do screen shots.

You will need to use the "Thread Tools" dropdown menu in the top of the thread.

Is there any other way to do it because in your forum when i edit the thread at the bottom of the post and go advanced and change it there it works. On my forum it doesn't work. Thanks for the help on the first part though it works that way.
Any idea's yet? ![]() |

Huh? Goto the top of this thread, and look in the "Thread Tools" dropdown, next to "Search this Thread" and "Rate Thread".

You mean when you edit the first post in a thread it doesn't change the thread name? That's normal, just go to "edit thread" in the dropdown.
