I was looking at the plugin system today and I noticed that, when I wanted to go to the vb.org forums for this hack I had to use the searchfunction to get what I want PLUS the hits you get are alot and often not the once you are searching for.

What about expanding the current plugin system with a field 'threadid' where you can specify the threadif of your plugin/product ... these links can be created in the adminCP of your vB forum under 'Manage Products'..in this case you can go to the forum topics on vb.org with only 1 click... seems usefull to me?

Products already have a "Product URL" field that can be used to link direct to vbulletin.org threads - with the added bonus that you get a version check link as well!

The links are viewable/clickable when you go to your admincp and choose Manage Products - if a link is available then the product title will be clickable.
