Article System vb.org are using??
Just wondering what article system vb.org are using? Is it an in house system or something that is available to everyone?
Thanks! |

I haven't looked into it too much, but I would imaging it's something the staff custom wrote for this site and haven't publicly released.

No worries. I may end up paying for an articles system the way things are looking. I can't find a free one anywhere.
Thanks! |

You can get something pretty close with vB Advanced.

I don't think vBulletin.org is actually using an Article System. Rather they are using a combination of forums and custom postbits to provide articles to the community. The power of vBulletin at work.

I will take a look at that, thanks!
I don't think I could work out how to do that! My coding skills are quite minimal at present. |

There's a mod called "First post on every page" that can be fairly easily worked into a similar system.

EDIT: Nevermind, just found it! Using the mod "First post on every page" has worked perfectly for what I wanted. Thanks a lot. |
