Disappointed in admin hooks
After so much discussion about the lack of hooks in the admin cp, I return from my long absence only to find that 3.6 does little to fix the problem. I still can't properly re-write my cpSettingsSort hack with a simple hook.
In fact, the entire options.php file only contains one hook. |

Feel free to request additional hooks at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=142051

I'm not trying to cause trouble. I think what you have done with the org here is fantastic. The new looks and obvious work put into graphics and custom hacks is great. And vb is a great product. It just seems that we (developers) have been asking for hooks in the admincp forever, and I don't understand why we have to request each one individually. Add hooks to the admincp, then if you missed one we can request it. That's how it works with every other part of the code. |
