Dear Members of the Vbulletin.org organization I wanted to give you my advanced WARNINGS against a fellow coder that is a member of this community.
If I have placed this in the wrong forum I appoligise and Mods please move this in the appropriate forum for members to be aware.

I had placed a new thread about a payed service (script) I wanted done and I was willing to pay for this script. I had a couple coders respond and after some decission I decided to choose the coder with the vb.org name " The Coldwood " we had several PM's back and forth about details of what I wanted this script to do and he agreed that he can do this script and would take him about 2-3 days to show me at least what he has created to make sure we are on the same track.
So that we can talk better he asked that we chat via Yahoo Im which worked out better, I explained the full details of the product and he agreed to take on the challange, quoted me a price and wanted 50% deposit to get started. I immediatly after sent him a payment via paypal.com and I verified that he received the payment.

Several days went by with no word from the coder even though he said he would contact me over the weekend I tried for days to reach him on IM. After going back and fourth he claims he would have the script completed by the end of the following week, 7 days passed with no word so I tried to contact him via IM again and for days he was on-line but would not respond. After numberous attemps he responds to me via IM pretending as if he didnt speak English or write English blowing me off as if he didnt even know who I was! After going back and fourth telling him that he is now playing games with me and I wont put up with this I warned him to either talk to me like im a customer and show me what you have created so far or I will report you to paypal. He then attempted to talk to me in English calling me a scammer and if I open a paypal case I will loose and on and on, so much BS that I can write forever guys and ladies. Listen I have hired several coders and had very good success but this guy is a true joke.

I have a case open with paypal as we speak with this joker as you can see by the paypal report below

This gentleman has tried to steal labour from me using PayPal's Resolution Centre in a manner that it was not intended for. Please do the right thing and decide the case in my favour

We had an agreement that your company would design a script called the Aquarium log that would intergrate with VB 3.5.x & 3.6.x and have a completed duplicate working version like www.xxx.com has. It has been 10 days now and no word from you, no screen shots, and no estimated time of completion. I believe you are a fruad and either need to create a full working version of this script by March 1st 2007 or will process a claim to refund my $60 deposit.

Kyle should be banned from vb.org/com forums.

There needs to be some guiadance for things like this. When this happened to me, my thread was closed, and the worst thing, that it was closed after The Coldwood replied and said I was a liar.

If more than 3 vBulletin CUSTOMERS and forum MEMBERS for a long time say they where scammed, VBULLETIN STAFF SHOULD DO SOMETHING.

I run a pretty successful site and members like Kyle would be banned if this is all he is only here to SCAM! I hope that the mods keep this posted as its in the best interest of the vb.org members. How many more people is he going to scam...

I'm sorry but you should have done your research. This isn't the first thread about this guy, and sad thing is it probably won't be the last.

I am not saying this to as a "what you should have done" but only for anyone else that might read this.
Just a simple search of "The Coldwood" brings up two other instances where other members have had problems with this character.

I did try and search BUT if the threads keep getting pulled by the mods then all traces are gone that's why this one needs to stay.
