Active member post
Hello everyone. I would like to have a way to keep my members active.
I have set it so that a member must have 10 posts before they can access a hidden forums. Is there a way to require them to make 3 posts a week (and still have atleast 10 posts) to keep access to that special forums? |

That sounds pretty complicated. I'm not even sure it is possible. Let me see, you want the member to get 10 posts, then they see the forum. After they get access, they must post at least 3 times a week to keep access. I'm not sure how to even start that.

I was thinking if they have 10 posts, they are put into a special user group (default feature of vBulletin). When they login (and are part of that user group) the mod will check to see if they have made X posts within X days to choose whether or not to display the hidden forums to them.
If they login and don't have 10 posts (thus are not in the special group) the mod will not do anything. |

You'd simply, check there last 10 posts, pull out the earliest one out of the ten and the latest and check if the timestamps are within a span of a week.

That seems like it would be better. That's better logic than I presented. I have someone working on this and I am discussing things right now.
