What can we do?

Some idiot is using multible proxies to spam ads for GG[ www.gaminggutter.com ] on gaiaonline and we keep getting host complaints, we are constantly writeing to Gaia, they won't give us infomation, so we made a malicious script and sent it through the messaging system to grab the IP/isp, we got ahold of one proxie, we complained to them, they blocked gaiaonline.com from the roughly 200 proxies they ran.

But theres billions of proxies out there..

What can we do?

Its not a user, as they aren't doing it for referals, rather our site dropped by our host.

Its been going on for a month now.

Just keep banning them.

You could moderate newly registered users.

Its not a member on the site spamming the ads on gaia to us, its someone trying to get our host to drop us.

Ah, I see... Not sure what to tell you in that case... Tell your host it's not you or your staff... I guess that's all you can do... if you have his real proxy, then you can obviously prove it's not you...

Add whichever words they are using to the blocked keyword list, and their posts will be sent to the moderation queue.

People are spamming ADVERTISMENTS to Gaminggutter on GAIAONLINE.

Not on our site...

Then it's not your problem. Tell them to improve their anti-spam, and explain to them it's not your staff doing it.
