group permissions messed up
Hi, me again, sorry!
I am trying to make sure that all groups have access to the correct forums and not to the rest. BUT, now I have it all worked out and registered users can go to cpanel and there request to become part of a group, by doing this: USER CP at the left top, and at the bottom left click on GROUP MEMBERSHIPS, select your membership there This should then allow me to see who gets in this group and who doesnt, but it automatically puts them in this group, its so weird. I cannot have this happen and need if they request to become a group members to a group that I decide if they can or cant.. Please help me! |

In your User Group Manager you need to set yourself to be a usergroup leader for that usergroup. The option to add a group leader is found in the dropdown menu for that user group.
