I'm looking to hide some forums on forumhome, similar to what's been done here on vB.org (articles for instance not showing). Does someone have an effective, and of course preferably easy way of doing this?
Thanks ![]() |

Haha, I knew it was most likely simple, but didn't see that one

Thanks for the tip. Pretty useful! The one thing I still don't know how to do is to have a link that directs to a new page that actually displays those hidden forums in their proper category (ex: MODIFICATIONS CATEGORY - FORUM 1 - FORUM 2) Sure you can link to the main category of it but it will not give the FORUMHOME vbulletin category listing look. If you follow.. help?
EDIT : I have been able to hide the CATEGORY and then link to the category in some other way(similar to what has been done here at vBulletin.org) however.. I suppose it would require some template edits that I don't really feel like doing at this moment :[ to give it the look of the actual vBulletin FORUMHOME. Maybe if you have a quick fix, you can let me know. I use sub-forums.. so it has that ugh look to it(sub-forums and no posting in the original forums of certain forums) .. so probably requiring if else statements. Ah well. Throw some quick workarounds my way if you can. |
