I'm looking for a 3.5.3 compatible plugin/product which will allow me to set a forum for site news and do a PHP include on the main page that will show these threads as news.
Like this site has for example; http://www.monatoesprit.org/ I've tried looking around, but all the mods have unrelated names. Please help. |

Well, I've installed it, but trying to find out how I'd do a PHP include to display the news module as my main site's news, without using the vbadvanced portal. Any ideas?

ummm, make your own basically. look at external pages articles. You could just query from that forum on your main page with a limit of 10 or something. im not sure if theres a plugin to show on the main page.

Unless I'm misunderstanding you...can you not just use the external.php file and set it to pull from only the specified forum?
Just look in the manual for setup instructions. http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/v...r_implementing |
