Default User Notes on Memberinfo
So vB has a User Notes system. Most people never even turn it on. I don't blame them... On a seperate page they never get seen.

I need a hack that will allow me to show a user's user notes on the memberinfo template. The amount of them and the link to post one is already there. I don't think getting the rest will be difficult.

Requirements:
Need to be restrictable to X number of notes.
Needs to be able to show username (clickable to profile).
Needs to be able to show the user note.
Needs to be able to restrict the number of characters in a usernote shown on memberinfo.
Needs to be able to show user note author's avatar.

I don't think there's much else that is needed in such a hack... Beggars can't be choosers!

I use vB 3.6.4 so if it worked with that version and above, I'd love you. I realise there is already a hack that has similar effect - but why re-invent the wheel? And why duplicate resources... Relational databasing is all about data redundancy afterall!

I hope someone would be kind enough to take me up on my offer. Even if you can't build something out of nothing, constructive feedback on my idea would be appreciated!

I've managed to do basically this with my forum, I'll post a template modification thread once I get it all organised. You can see a demo here: http://forums.ffextreme.com/member.php?u=1

When you're logged in it shows a post user note box at the bottom.

I believe usernotes automatically takes the char limit from regular posts (it also uses the postbit template). My postbit is rather large, and I didn't want the big postbit in the usernotes, so I had to add some code to my postbit to exclude a lot of things if it was viewing in usernotes.

I'd also like an auto-PM though.

Like your modification there on the profile Mista Roth. I am also looking for something similar when it comes to user notes. It would be nice to actually make some use out of it!

The user notes does seem to be of little use, if it is not active at forums. This should be coded by good guys.
1. At postbit
2. Email reminder/PM to those who get the usernote

Who already got this thing figured out? I got how to email the person after getting user note, if somebody needs that let me know, I need to display the usernotes on the profiles so on the member.php anybody knows how to do that?
