A suggestion
Hey,
I have a suggestion. When a user posts a response to a hack, saying, they need help/support. So, you are looking all over to a link to their forum, and you can't see one anywhere. So, maybe,
So, us authors can't see what the problem is, how about, before posting their message, they must have a link somewhere in their profile, but if they don't show their URL because of reason No. 1. Make it so they can wrap tags around the URL, so only them, and the mod' author can see the URL. Would be a great help. It gets annoying when people ask for help, and you can't actually view their board to see the problem. Just a suggestion. Adrian |

If someone really needs private support they should do it in private. This is just a personal opinion though.
I understand your frustration, but people will just need to start posting their url more often. |

The lack of a site link has always annoyed me as well Adrian, combined with the fact that half the urls are invalid as well (that's a bit of a bug really). I don't think it's privacy in most cases, because if you ask, most people post a link. I think it's just the fact that people don't update their profile, so I don't think such a tag would really help in the majority of cases.
