<td> mouseover highlights?

i'm trying to implement mousover highlights for <td>'s and can't seem to get it work. i'm using vbadvanced to load a html page that contains the tables. when i open the .html file in my browser, the mouseovers work as planned, but when its loaded throguh vbadvanced and my board css takes over, its lost.

any ideas? anyone have example code?
