Intergrate wimpyplayer to vbulletin 3.6 / vbavanced?

Has anyone successgfully been able to intergrate the wimpy mp3 player to vbulletin? I've managed it once and then later saw that it really didn't work as I had added to instances of my code, one which was incorrect. However when I removed it the working copy also stopped working.

I know there is a vbplayer, but honestly I don't like the skins nor do I like that I have to add each song via xml. I like wimpy's interface, plus all that I have to do is upload the mp3s to the remote folder and i'm done.

Has anyone managed this yet?

I have it installed and working with a link from an MP3 logo for everyone to click on which brings up the wimpy player. The problem is that I want a tight fitting screen without the navigation buttons. More a less a pop-up window but I can not figure out how to implement this.
Anyone have any ideas.
