First post-thread view

I'm new to doing vbulletin plugins, and I've been searching but I'm not sure what it is that I'm looking for.

Basically I was wondering how do you have a thread where the first post is like it is on the 'Install' threads in the vB3.5 Add-ons selection. It has that inital first post, then every other post is like it is in a normal thread - 2 columns, the avatar/info on the left and their post on the left. I hope this makes sense, but like I said, I'm not sure what it is that I'm looking for.
