Why Does This Refuse To Work?!
I have had v3 arcade for a while now and now I try to add games lik pacman and they dont seem to install, I get this same dang error every time I install a game and I have no idea why!
I have reinstalled v3 arcade and to no avail. This is the error: v3 Arcade - [--Game--] Fatal error: Call to a member function query() on a non-object in /home/mysite/public_html/admincp/catapult.game.php on line 66 |

It could be a problem with the game itself or the files associated with it.

Well I got the pacman game john made and it did not work, and neither does the other games I got too
I dont think john messed up with pacman because people say it works fine. |

Are the default games working ok in the arcade?
Have you performed any CHMod changes that may be required for this arcade? Which version of the arcade and vBulletin are you running? |

Latest ver of v3 arcade and vbulletin.
The games still work in the arcade. Anyone got a clue on why I am getting this error or suggestions on how to fix it? |

I don't use that arcade, and haven't done for over 18 months, so working from memory is difficult and I haven't got a testboard that I could install it on to see what is happening as it is being used for something else. Apart from the basic pointers, I can't really give much more help with it. Sorry.

rats... well, I dont know what else I could do besides reupload the files, any files that would probably be affected by the installing? Because its only when I go to install the files that it doesnt work, but if I directly link to the files it works perfectly.

As long as you are following the standard way for importing games on that arcade then it should work perfectly. Did you need to CHmod and folders or files to 777 before you can import? This would have been detailed in the installation instructions.
From what I remember (but this is a really old version and with 3.0.x not 3.5.x) you upload the .swf to /games the two .gifs to /images/arcade and the .game.php to /admincp then point your browser to it to install it. Whether or not it is still the same method, I have no idea. Can you confirm exactly which version vBulletin you mean by the lastest version. Is that 3.5.4 or 3.6.0 RC2 ? |

3.5.4 yes.
And I installed it just like you posted right there. Also, I dont remember seeing anything about that in the instructions, but I will check again. |
