Lead Admin vBulletin.org
As you are all aware, recent events have been challenging and we have been doing all that we can to resolve some of the issues.
We have now appointed Marco van Herwaarden (better known to most as MarcoH64) to head up vBulletin.org. I am sure that this is welcome news for everyone. I am sure that all of you will support him in his new role and we look forward to getting vBulletin.org back on track. Marco's overall responsibility is the smooth and efficient running of vB.org and any queries can be directed at him. By appointing a dedicated Admin, we believe that the needed changes on the site can be done much faster and in a more consistent way. Additionally, the shorter communication lines to Jelsoft and vBulletin.com will mean that we can better support the volunteer Staff, who already are putting a lot of their time and dedication into running vBulletin.org. There is still a lot of work to do to make the site the best Resource for vBulletin once again. Changes may be slow to begin with, but once the new process picks up speed, the improvements should be visible to you much quicker than before. There have been a lot of changes on the Staff recently and Marco just took up the role as Administrator of the Coding Team and processes have been started within this team to improve the overall quality and member satisfaction. In order to keep this process going, Marco will for the near future stay on in the role as Coding Team Admin. We would like to thank Wayne Luke for the work that he has done at vBulletin.org. We would also like to thank the Staff and the community for their contributions not only over the last few months, but over the last few years. With your continued support, we look forward to vBulletin.org helping vBulletin.com raise the standard, once again. Thank you. |
