usergroup by domain on registration
Hi all,
Here is what I need: 1 server 1 vB instalation 2 domains When user comes from domain1.com and register he automatically goes to usergroup1. When user comes from domain2.com and register he automatically becomes member of usergroup2. Then i will set different permissions for those usergroups. Is it hard to do this? And is it ok with vB rules to use one forum with two domains? Any help is really appreciated. |

I suppose this is like having 2 boards so I am not sure if it would be allowed. Best off asking on vbulletin.com

My understanding of the vB license agreement is that one license is good for one board on one server with one database for one domain. So even if your one board is on one server and is using one database -- if it's still supporting two different domains, then yes you need to purchase a second license.
Let us know what they tell you at vBulletin.com. Cheers :bunny: |
