Att : Moderator
How about marking the thread in forum display with some sort of image or different coloured text for those who require the attention of a moderator? Being a mod myself on another board, it becomes quite tiresome having to trawl through thread after thread to ensure everything is ok.
Perhaps have a button that the users could click that marked the thread in forum display with something that could attract the attention of mods to make it easier to keep things better moderated. Thoughts anyone? RJ |

Generally speaking, this is what the report post function is for. Reporting a post sends an email to all moderators of that forum, or the administrators if there are no moderators specified.

It would be interesting to see a modification that would change the cell color of the entire row when a thread is reported to the moderators. Not everyone checks their e-mail/PM box as often as they are online and not all have the notification option checked.
Basically, when a thread is reported, the thread cell/row background turns a light pinkish-red (such as what happens when you use the inline moderation). |

Fair enough. I guess Its just about users being a bit more proactive and actually reporting such threads.
Oh well... RJ |
