I'm not sure whether the staff will find this appropriate so if anyone is offended (can't see why) and if the staff find it offensive (again I can't see why they should) feel free to delete this thread.

I like these, me grabbed in case there removed, ya never know...
Thanks Shelly
LOL
I wouldn't worry (had they been removed) you can always request via PM. So far so good. I'll see if I can get away with posting the other ones. Probably not.
seriously, i think there should also be an INSTALL button for graphics submitted by designers. who's with me?
On paper (or at least on post) it sounds like a great idea. but the fact is, that members who would choose to install the images would need to have a white coloured matte background, and most styles don't as every style is unique in it's colour which means a white matte edge would show a white surround thus giving the image such an ugly appearance with a white rim surrounding it when up against a colour that isn't white.
What about full transparency? That would be fine if the Images didn't contain curved edges (or atleast constructed with the pencil tool) so there's no smooth anti-aliasing present. However, anti-aliasing is what makes the emoticons I submit look better than pixel variants (which I don't care for much) and for me to remove the white (or any coloured matte) would result in extremely ugly submissions if I saved them at full transparency. (full transparency varant below) See the ugly jaggy edge?
Full transparency (left) colour matte (right)
It works well with hacks/code modifications, but for indivdual images/sets unless the member had the same coloured background as the graphic submissions it would be chaos.
Personally, The idea is good, but.. I doudbt there's any workaround for it.
EDIT: I'll be adding more "Get Screwed" emoticons later today. They will have a slightly larger canvas.
Note!! Anyone who would like to suggest any titles feel free to post and I will try to design to compliment to the suggested title.
Totally misunderstood you there yingyang. If I'm going to be brutally honest with a reply to you, I don't think that the graphics area is and/or will ever be a priority here at vb.org. You only need to glance at the whole structure to see why, and the lack of commitment that's been put into this area. So (as stated) I don't think there's going to be any change anytime soon, which doesn't really motivate graphic designers to contribute. I could be wrong, But consistency shows that change won't be happening for a long time.
I'll just plod on posting graphics till I get bored I suppose and try and better the content in the graphics area and submit custom sets rather than the default, re-coloured default images which have been posted.

Every little helps (asda? tescos?) I forgot, though changes can only be made in small increments but with that said. Change/improvement can't be brought forward if feedback is ignored. Ignored thread. Anyway, I'm always bored, a little crazy at times, but mostly bored. Have I mentioned I'm always bored? I'm not bored now, though I may be in 5 minutes time. *ponders on ways to become bored*
Suggestions on becoming bored would be appreciated needs to be constructive.
