Moderator Resignation
A fairly simple request this, I'd attempt it myself but I'm fairly sure that there'd be a couple of complications on top of simply updating the user's usergroup; updating accessmasks and such?
Anyway, I'd like to see an option in the modcp for a moderator or super moderator to resign from their position. Upon clicking the link, they're presented with a message at the top of the page along the lines of: You are about to resign from your staff position at X, it is advised that you try to contact the administrator before resorting to this. and below it, a reason textarea box (required). Once "Submit" is clicked, a final warning is presented asking if the user is sure, and making sure that they fully understand the action they are about to take. If confirmed, the user is demoted and a PM/email is sent to the administrator(s) informing them of the action, with the reason that the user has stated. Is anyone up for this.? |

My Personal opinion: How often does this happen, i would not think it is worth the effort to create an automated (fully functional, in all situation!!) solution for this.

No, Andy, I will not resign. :cross-eyed:
