Is there anything to do this?
I want members to be able to read posts on one section of the site but to have to know a password to be able to post. Is there any hack that I can install to help me do this?
Thanks |

Why you want it to be so difficult with a password?

Because I get media posts on my forum but in view of the sensitive nature of some I want to review them before they post in there and despite me asking them to contact Admin before posting in there they dont!

just create a new user group or change the usergroup these people are in and edit the following
admincpanel>usergroups>usergroupmanager>Post / Thread Permissions Quote:
any post will be be not allowed before you approve it |

You can select that all the new topics need to be moderated / approved before going live for specific forums.
