First of all, yes you can. How bad it hits your system resources depends on what the system specs are.

Second, I would ask this at the vBAdvanced site. The author would likely be able to give you better details.

vbadvanced gallery has been recently taken over by photopost, I think you need to ask tech questions at photopost's forums.
