Default Password Hashes?

have vBulletin as my forums. If u get in the MySQL database of it, and u search the user, it has some sort of weird hash for the user, such as this one: 43c1c0f2c3f18e203c5fe84d2d7cb9cb . It isn't an MD5 (even though it looks simular.) but it is some other hash, what kind of hash is it, and how do I crack it. But if somone could tell me, or crack that hash above for me, i would greatly appreciate it, if u crack it, plz PM the password to me, lol.

well as I have read your post it seems your interested in something that would be well lets say not something that vbulletin.org mods nor members will really want to be dealing with if you where to ask what the coding was because you where interested in coding yourself that’s a little different but this seems to me that your asking a COMPANY BASED WEBSITE for information on how to crack/hack/steal/borrow without consent/ break in and so on and so on that would engage in a privacy issue for the person/s website/s not to mention the fact that that knowledge in the wrong hands could be bad news to not only other websites but this one aswell so all in all im sure a mod will be closing this thread and if im wrong then i guess im wrong but it would seem very weird for myself because I bought vbulletin for the security and if the company hands out the info then hell there’s no point in having vbulletin lol
good luck with your quest!

I don't think you'll get any help. =\ The point of hashing passwords is to prevent anyone from knowing the real password. This is obviously leading to abuse of an account.

vBulletin uses an md5 hashing system, if you are so intent on brute forcing a password you can do so yourself, but I doubt much help from the community you will get.

Also, even if your bruteforce that hash, it won't be their original password.
